Culver City COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program
Culver City renters facing financial hardships due to COVID-19 may be eligible to receive temporary rental assistance. The Community Development Department’s Housing Division will offer 12-month rental assistance or 3-month rental catch-up to residents who meet the income and COVID-19 impact qualifications. Eligible applications will be selected by lottery.
The online application period will be open from Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 8 AM until Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:59 PM. Applicants who are unable to apply online must request a paper application, which will be available ONLY on Monday, August 24, 2020 by calling (310) 253-5780 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Paper applications must be postmarked and mailed no later than Monday, August 31, 2020 at 4:30 PM.
Applicants do not need to be a U.S. citizen to apply for this program.

Los Angeles County COVID-19 Rent Relief
The LA County COVID-19 Rent Relief application will open on August 17, 2020 until Monday, August 31, 2020. Eligible renters must qualify based on income and have struggled to pay rent, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You can submit your application online at 211la.org/lacounty/rentrelief. If you do not have a computer, you can call 2-1-1 and a representative can complete an online application on your behalf. The hotline will be available from 8:00AM – 8:00PM every day during the application period and there will be representatives to assist you in various languages.

Los Angeles County Temporary Eviction Moratorium
The temporary eviction moratorium has been extended until September 30, 2020. During the moratorium, tenants may not be evicted for COVID 19 related non-payment of rent, as well as no fault reasons, nuisance, unauthorized occupants or pets, if related to COVID-19.
