This page provides information and requirements for those interested in becoming authorized to provide services (becoming “vendored”) to WRC individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It also answers frequently asked questions and informs entities of their right to appeal a regional center decision.

Vendors and long-term health care facilities must report suspected abuse, neglect, an injury requiring medical attention, unplanned hospitalization, and missing persons if they occur when a consumer is receiving services funded by a regional center (under vendored care). In addition, any consumer mortality or a consumer being the victim of a crime must be reported whether or not it occurred while the consumer was under vendored care.
