Understanding the Disability: Behavioral Problems & Emotional Development

In several disabilities, behavioral and emotional problems are affected. Behavior difficulties include for example aggressiveness, opposition to the rules, hyperactivity, anxiety, inflexibility, social problems among others. Emotional development needs to be supported at the same time as behavior problems, practicing skills such as self- control, tolerance to frustration, emotional security process and self-esteem, empathy, motivation. In this class these aspects will be taught mainly so parents can favor these areas in order to promote a harmonious life.
