Understanding the Disability: Intellectual Disability

This class offers theoretical and practical information on the challenges parents face in the diagnosis of Intellectual Disability. Parents will learn about the evaluation process, services and types of treatment, as well as the challenges associated with adaptation, independence, cognitive processes such as learning, memory, attention, sensory processing problems among others.
