In this presentation, Dr. Rosenberg will share with families, service coordinators, and school staff the excitement that more Students with Intellectual Disabilities will have access to a “real” diploma via the Alternative Pathway to a Diploma.  He will explore strategies to ensure more students can earn a high school diploma. California has multiple existing pathways to a diploma. Learn how to ensure your child or students’ can take the first steps to college and career readiness- earning a diploma.  Explore the Alternative Pathway to a diploma for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities, starting as one enters High School.   Expectations begin at birth!!!!
