This training reviews the steps of Suicide Assessment. Attendants will review signs of suicide as well as the process of evaluating suicide risk. Various reasons behind suicide attempts and suicidal ideation are discussed. Caregivers will be provided opportunity to role play various scenarios and consult with fellow colleagues and professionals regarding this critical subject matter. Presented by the Crisis Response Project, the training is intended for Direct Support Professionals, Administrators, friends, and family members. Located in Conference Room 4A.
This is part 2/2 in this series. To get the most out of this series it was recommended that participants attend both sessions in the series; however enrollment is open to newcomers as well. A new series will begin in the Spring Quarter. Space is limited!
