The Self-Determination Local Advisory Committee reviews the development and ongoing progress of the Self Determination Program, including whether the program advances the principles of self determination and is operating consistent with the requirements of this section, and may make ongoing recommendations for improvement to the regional center and the department. All are welcome to attend these meetings.

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is hosting a Self-Advocate and Family Member Information Event this Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
This virtual event will include:
- updates from DDS,
- information about Participant-Directed Services (PDS), and
- an opportunity for DDS to hear from you
This meeting will be presented in Spanish with simultaneous English interpretation.
