This is a health and benefits training on work and disability.  Learn vital information on how a person enrolled in the 250% Medi-Cal Working Disabled Program can maintain their Medi-Cal and In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) benefits while earning as much as $50,000 per year. This training is open to persons with disabilities and professionals who work with persons with disabilities.  This training is presented by the Personal Assistance Services Council (PASC) in collaboration with the California Health Incentive Improvement Project (CHIP). The process of transitioning from the public education system to adult services is a major change for HRC clients and their families. Families need to plan with their child and the school system, if clients have the goal of working after high school. This presentation will discuss how you can prepare for this transition and what options and supports are available for all HRC clients that have a goal of working.
